The Ladies’ Golf Open will be held on the 12TH – 14TH November 2025 at the Ikoyi Club 1938 Golf Section

Main Event: WAGR Ranked Player or HC 0-28 (Day 1, Day 2 & Day 3) 12th – 14th Nov 2025
Special Category: (Stableford): Strictly Ikoyi Club Ladies HC 29 – 36 (Day 1) 12h Nov 2025
Veteran Category: Age 60 – 69 HC 0 – 28 (Day 1 & Day 2) 12th – 13th Nov 2025
Super Veteran Category: Age 70+ HC 0 – 28 (Day 1 & Day 2) 12th – 13th Nov 2025
Structure: 54-hole stroke play format
Cut Rule: After two rounds, the top 50 players (and ties) advance to the final round
In the event of a tie for the Champion’s position, there will be play-offs on holes 18, 1 and 2. The winner will be decided by sudden death.
For other positions, countback shall be used to determine the winners.
Yes. Players may book practice rounds on the 11th of November for free. Any day earlier than this will attract the club’s green fees of NGN25,000 on weekdays and NGN35,000 on weekends/public holidays.
The tournament will proceed in light rain. In the event of severe weather, play may be suspended or rescheduled for safety.
Lady players of all nationalities with a handicap 28 and better. Every Competitor must come along with a valid handicap certificate or proof of their WAGR Ranking.
Registration opens on 25th August 2025. You can register through the website. Spots are limited and will be confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Yes. The entry fee for Ikoyi Ladies and Nigerian-based golfers is NGN40,000 per participant and $100 per International player. This covers green fees, tournament administration, welcome cocktails, and selected hospitality.
Handicaps will be accepted from both CONGU and WHS systems. Please note that there will be no adjustments for players with WHS Handicap index. Please refer to the competition rules for details.

Players should adhere to standard golf dress code: collared shirts, golf skirts/shorts/trousers, and golf shoes with soft spikes.
Yes. Caddies and carts will be available at an additional cost. Note that the use of cart for this event is restricted to Veteran/Super Veteran Ladies. Please book early through the golf club.
Yes. Though the tournament is a Gross event, prizes will be awarded for overall gross and net winners, handicap categories, and special contests such as Longest Drive and Nearest the Pin.
